Capricorn-Adventures at the "Feuerkogel" in Ebensee

The southern bank of the lake Traunsee, around the municipality of Ebensee, is our homeland. The area, of the “Höllengebirge” mountains, the “Langbath” valley, “Rindbach” valley, up to the lake “Offensee” with the north ends of the “Toten Gebirge” mountains, belongs to the most beautiful landscapes in the northern “Salzkammergut” area.

The Feuerkogel (1590m) with its small family ski resort, is an ideal starting point, in order to explore the plateau of the “Höllengebirge” mountains at a height of 1862m, with easy up to moderately snow shoe tours and with survival training.

The „Langbath“ valley, with two pictorial lain mountain lakes, the offplaced mountain range of the small Sonnstein (923m), the Fahrnau (1239m), and the Lärlkogel, the close and well-known Hochsteinalm (907m), offer everything you can wish for successful experiences and adventures in nature...
