Nostalgic rides with the tram of Gmunden

Throughout the whole year and every second weekend in July and August and, you can ride with the nostalgic tram of Gmunden. An uforgettable experience, not only for railway fans.

You not only ride with the smallest, nevertheless with one of the steepest trams in the world through the town of Gmundenupon lake Traunsee.

With the art nouveau rail car GM 5 (year of construction 1911) or the open summer rail car GM 100 (year of construction 1898), you make a ride on the only 2,3 kilometer long track from the railway station, through the villa quarter, to the beautiful lake esplanade into the town centre of Gmunden and back.

Departure from the station "Franz-Josef Platz" at the full hour starting at 2:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m. and the last one at 6:00 p.m.
