Enjoy the atmosphere of the "Märchennacht" with its breathtaking fireworks in Traunkirchen. Festival of lights (Lichterfest) in Gmunden
Reserve your box place for the popular "Lichterfest" at Freisitz Roith or on board of our boat MS Hochlecken soon enough. At 7:00 p.m. we welcome you with champagne in the castle's garden. Start of the dinner and „Cast off“ at 7.30 p.m..

Culinary cruise at lake Traunsee
We invite you to a premiere at lake Traunsee:
the culinary journey starts with an aperitif at the "Schlosshotel Freisitz Roith". From there, the cruise boat MS Hochlecken takes you to the further stations of this special journey:
The starter is served at the known "Steckerlfisch-Wirt", the ‚Trawöger‘ in Altmünster. Afterwards, the journey continues to Traunkirchen, where you will enjoy the kitchen of Thomas Donleitner in the "Restaurant Bootshaus" at the hotel ‚Das Traunsee‘. The two hat dessert of chief cook Maximilian Aichinger of the Freisitz Roith will be served in a romantic atmosphere while sunset and piano music on board of the MS Hochlecken. Ship ahoy!

The traditionel opening of the "Freisitz Roith" game weeks also takes place this year with hunting horns, hot chestnuts & castle's apple punch. An exclusive game galadinner in 5 courses opens the game season and for swing & good mood, the band „Threesome“ plays.
