On a hill just above the village of Neukirchen-Altmünsterer is the "Rabenwies", a typical architectural style of the "Viechtauer" - as the place is called by the people - built house. Here the life of the population shows about a hundred years. There is emphasis on homework, which at that time was essential for a living. Viechtauer wood products, especially toys, found their way into the whole monarchy, and beyond.

Visiting the Christmas crips exhibtion in the "Viechtauer Heimathaus" in Neukirchen from Tuesday 27^th December 2011 till Thursday, 2^nd February 2012, there are several crips to watch. Visits outside of the opening hours for groups on demand.
