We remained faithful for our guiding principle of the linkage of time, art and place. The transformation of the presence by fantasy in language, sound and picture was always already topic in Gmunden. Festival weeks are "high - times" of art and its different ranges.

We maintain the proven multi-section adjustment: Baroque, classical period, music 20 and 21. Century, jazz, Pop, pictorial art, film, literature and theatre. Each summer evening at that you have time and desire to come to us, we promise individual experiences and inspirations of special art.

The Salzkammergut Festival Weeks Gmunden celebrate their 25th anniversary! After a successful season, the planing and organizing for the anniversairy year 2012 is all that matters. artistic director Jutta Skokan is looking forward to present a highly sophisticated and surprising programm.
Outstanding young talents, celebrates composers and interpreters, big names of the Austrian literatur, fascinating actors and brillant greatness of mind will align in the magnificent and idyllic area of lake Traunsee this festival.
