Surf- and Kiteparadise Ebensee

The south bank of lake Traunsee, in the area of Ebensee, is due to its wide water sports offers very famous in the whole region.

Aquatic athletes exactly know that lake Traunsee and especially the "Rindbach bay" near Ebensee is the centre of water sports. The "Rindbacher" bay with its microclimate leads to perfect wind conditions and sailer, surfer, kitesurfer or wakeboarder meet each other from afar.
The centre of leisure "Rindbach" is situated about 1 km away from the centre of the city directly at lake Traunsee and consists of sunbathing areas (aproximately 19.000m²), sanitations, areas for surfing, beach-volleyball- and soccer grounds and boat hire. The usage is free of charge, simply a parking tax is to pay.

To stay over aquatic athletes can do this in different accomodations like the youth hostel close to the leisure centre.

Courses for beginners to advanced learners as well as the rental of equipment is offered.
