Climbing tours
Visible from afar, the Traunstein, also known as the „watch-man of the Salzkammergut" invites one to climb. Having climbed to the summit, one could believe it were possible to touch Heaven with one's fingertips.
Other demanding climbing tours can be made in the mountain range "Höllengebirge", for example on the Feuerkogel or the Brunnkogel, actually right round the Traunsee.
