Hiking in the Traunsee area

The Holiday Region Traunsee, with the towns Gmunden, Altmünster, Traunkirchen and Ebensee, attracts hikers and mountain climbers from all over the globe. Ebensee has an incredibly great hiking and walking area. Unfortunately, due to weather influences some trails are affected, so they must be locked for a while.

Times of operation Summer from 1st May till 26th October 2010
Daily from 9:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m.
If necessary and if good weather, th eoperation hours will be extended on weekends and in July and August upto max. 6 p.m.. Cable car operation to the full hour, if necessary continuous operation.
