The Countdown for the RC44 Austria Cup 2012 has started, one of only 6 regattas of the RC44 Championship Tour 2012. This is already the 5th time lake Traunsee is a venue of this competition. Not least because of the professionalism of PROFS Marketing as an organiser of events like this.

Gmunden’s Esplanade and town square will be rebuilt into a hot spot for high-tech sailing. It not only offers top-class sport but also sailing stars like Russell Coutts (quadruplicate America’s Cup winner), Chris Bake, Cameron Appleton, Igor Lah, Sébastien Col or Paul Cayard you can watch at work up-close and personal. Culinary delights and front row at Austria’s most spectacular sailing event are guaranteed. If by the shore or on the VIP cruiser, fans can enjoy the regattas.

Sailed on one design full carbon race yachts, the RC44 Class includes Match Race, Fleet Race and a Long Distance Race. Russell Coutts’ initials and the ships length in feet build the name RC44.
