Big lake festival in Altmünster
postponed to Sunday, 01st August starting at 7.30 p.m. at the "Esplanade" in Altmünster
One of the most beautiful places at the lake Traunsee is the lake-promenade in Altmünster. In the evening one experiences an impressing tendency there, if the “Traunstein” is dipped by the setting sun into wonderful red. Thus also the slogan for the lake festival in Altmünster is called "Da Traunstoan leucht`".
The lake festival in Altmünster is located completely in the indication of genuine customs and genuine people music and begins over at 19:30 o'clock with the music association Altmünster.
The Zupf Fiedl Quetsch – Musi continues in music, supported from people dance inserts of the “Trachtenverein'"D'Altmuensterer" and the “Viechtauer Trachtenverein”.
The tendencyful “Laterndltanz” with the “Trachtenverein'"D'Altmuensterer" closes the first part of the festival.
At approx. 22:40 o'clock the "Neukirchner pillory contactors" announces the highlight of the evening:
the large sound fireworks with music.
Special midnight event: the "Voigasplattler" with their performance.

Also culinary, there is a lot worth mentioning:
“Stanglfisch”,”Bratwuerstl “up to coffee & cake. This year will be the first time Austrian winemakers pour their wines at the Lake Festival.
